Vehicle Repair Trade Visiting EcoPark

• EPD organized a site visit for 6 trade representatives from Hong Kong Vehicle Repair Merchants Association and Environmental Vehicle Repairers Association to the EcoPark at Tuen Mun on 26 August 2011. To facilitate the vehicle repair workshop trade to have a better understanding on resource recovery and recycling activities in Hong Kong, the trade representatives were introduced on the facilities and tenants’operations in the EcoPark, and guided tours to 2 of the tenants (including recycling of waste cooking oil to biodiesel facility and processing of electrical appliances waste recycling centre) were arranged.
