Liaison Meeting between EPD and Franchised Bus Companies

• On 12 November 2010, a liaison meeting was held between EPD and representatives of franchised bus companies (CityBus/New World First Bus, KMB, Long Win Bus and New Lantao Bus) .

• During the meeting, EPD colleagues gave presentations on the EPD's Partnership Programme with the Vehicle Repair Workshop and on Management of Chemical Wastes. There was a lot of discussion after the presentations, including the proper handling and consignment of chemical wastes (such as spent batteries, lubricating oil and the like) to licensed chemical waste collectors.
