Visit to the Repair Workshop of Dent Doctor on the paintless dent removal technique
On 30th March 2007, the Business Facilitation Office of the Environmental Protection Departmnet (EPD) visited Dent Doctor at its workshop in Kwun Tong.
Danny and Frankie of the workshop explained the dent recovery technique imported from North America. This technique, apart from a set of special tools, requires suitable training and experience. The advantage of this technique is that it does not damage paint coating on car surface, does not require paint spraying, thus avoiding unnecessary pollution. In contrast, the traditional method requires hammering, filling, grinding and paint spraying, produces noise, air pollution, chemical wastes and so on.
