2006 EcoExpo

• To promote environmental protection, the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) participated in the International Trade Fair on Environmental Protection 2006 held at the AsiaWorld-Expo.

• The Expo attracted a total of 128 exhibitors from 19 countries. A total of 8,000 visitors from 79 countries and areas came to the Expo which lasted for 4 days.

• EPD promoted various environmental protection plans to both local and oversea visitors, and introduced to them the newly set up “Compliance Assistance Centre” which provides assistance to the trade and to improve their level of environmental performance.

• EPD displayed a Green Garage Model in the Expo with in view to promoting the environmental awareness of the vehicle repair workshop trade.
