Collaboration Scheme with Vehicle Repair Workshops

Appointment of Environmental Ambassadors

• On 15th December 2000, staff of the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) explained related environmental legislations to Environmental Ambassadors, briefed on the procedures to follow up on complaints against vehicle repair workshops, and issued the appointment certificates and cards.

• EPD staff explained in depth the contents of the Collaboration Scheme to partitioners of the vehicle repair workshop trade. After knowing the details of the Collaboration Scheme, some operators shared the importance of environmental protection and immediately joined the Scheme.
